luratec AG at ila 2008 in berlin schönefeld
[may 2008] at this year’s ila 2008, luratec AG presented istelf with a small but nice exhibition stand in the isc - international suppliers center. the stand was visited by many professionals who all showed special interest in the exposed carbon fibre stringer, which luratec AG-ceo hans-jürgen henneke was more than once asked to explain. "the exposed stringer is a component we designed for the new airbus A350." the expert for fibre-reinforced composites explained. "it is ultra-light but at the same time extremely stable. this is the future - especially with regard to airliners." in this connection, henneke pointed out that he and his whole team were extremely proud to be able to take part in the material testing of such an innovative product as the A350. "this is a great challenge, but at the same time a great pleasure. by now, we have already designed three-dimensional carbon fibre stringers with a total length of more than 10 metres. it is now our ambition to design even better and much lighter ones."
besides technically-versed specialists the stand of luratec AG also attracted quite a number of prominent people from politics, trade and industry. among those were, for example, peter hinze, parliamentary state secretary and federal government coordinator of german aerospace policy (federal ministry of economics and technology), jürgen seidel, minister for economics, labour and tourism from the state of mecklenburg vorpommern, ulrich adam, member of the german bundestag and of the committee of defense, as well as bernd troetzer, senior vice president of airbus germany. all of them were highly impressed by the innovative capacity and the dynamic of the young rostock business.
hans-jürgen henneke and his team furthermore held interesting talks with representatives of renowned european, american and asian enterprises of the aerospace industry.
